2.What is PEG-MGF
PEGylation is the act of attaching a Polyethylene glycol (PEG)
structure to another larger molecule (in this case, MGF). The PEG
acts as a protective coating and the theory here is that this will
allow the MGF to be carried through the blood stream without being
broken down. Neurological research has shown that utilizing
PEGylated MGF resulted in a longer more stable acting version of
the MGF peptide in serum/blood.
PEG-MGF (mechano growth factor-pegylated) is a variant of IGF-1
(Insulin-like Growth Factor) which leads to an increase in the
muscle cells of the muscles needed for adults to continue to grow
beyond their genetic limit. Like other forms of IGF-1, PEG-MGF
(also known as IGF-1EC) creates new muscle cells and stimulates
muscle growth by promoting nitrogen retention and increasing
protein synthesis.PEG-MGF differs from regular MGF since it has
undergone a process of "pegylation" which prolongs its half-life of
less than 30 minutes to several days.

4.How to storage
The vials are lyophilized and will therefore remain stable at room
temperature for 1-2 months. However, for long-term storage, they
must be kept a 2-8 degrees C (refrigerator temperature), where they
will remain stable until 18 months in powder form. Once mixed with
mixing solution, vials should be stored in the refrigerator and not
left at room temperature.
